Yachts park at Viaduct Harbour

Auckland is the busiest city of NZ, it was NZ's capital before year 1840. Auckland is popularly known as the "City of Sails" because the harbour is often dotted with hundreds of yachts. There is lots going on in downtown Auckland, and people from all over the world and all walks of life abound.

I spent about 3 days walking around in the city. For me, it's a melting pot of different cultures in NZ. You can see Asian is everywhere in the city, Chinese, Korean, Japanese. In fact, it has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world and a higher proportion of people of Asian origin than the rest of New Zealand.
