Life in Hastings, sunny town of Hawke's Bay

I like the sky & the low clouds -Clock tower in town - Black sheep & white sheep

Apple orchard full of apple trees; Apple trees full of apples

Hastings is a town with most sunny day, hence, you may find many orchard here. The famous are apple orchard & grape vineyard. Although I don't have the chance to work in apple packhouse neither work as apple picker (it is very tough), but we got chance to break in an apple orchard quietly. Please don't get me wrong, we just visit the orchard without taking anything there, not like our another gang of friends plucked a basket come back. ^^ We are good girl & boy. :p

Beautiful Chinese style garden

There is a Chinese garden in the town, it's nice too. Hastings is consider a quiet town to us because it's not big and most of the shop will close during weekend.

It was our off day, so Sim, Eddy, Stone, Sharon & me decided to rent a car to go Napier. Before we went to Napier, we went to hill recommend by the car rental~ Te mata Peak. We were so excited after we got up to the peak because the mountainous view is so beautiful. It was a windy day, I felt myself will blow away by the strong wind.
~look at my hair, cool hair style right? ^^

We went to a nearby town called Napier, the main city of the Hawke's Bay region, was razed by earthquake and fire in 1931 and has one of the largest concentrations of Art Deco buildings in the world. There is a beautiful black sand beach.
